The Museum is the only art gallery in Valcamonica. The depicted <em>Christ crucified<\/em> is very similar to the same subject frescoed by the painter in the church of Pisogne. On the back of the canvas another painting has recently been discovered, depicting the mystical <em>marriage of Santa Caterina d\u2019Alessandria<\/em>, also by the hand of Romanino and datable
